What can a stock N/A run?

So I've been debating this, and I don't have any local FC's to compare.

My car ran a 16.1 but with a horrible launch and spinning through first.

I'm thinking with a good launch and stickier tires I can pull off a mid 15.

Think it's possible?

First run Second run
R/T 1.147 .399
60' 2.547 2.660
330' 7.089 7.189
1/8 10.816 10.889
MPH 65.78 66.35
1000' 14.036 14.081
1/4 16.754 16.779
MPH 83.01 83.49

This 5000 miles on rebuild with intake and headers as only mods. Also didn't have the lsd in there either. I was launching at 3000 and getting mad wheel hop. Haven't tested it since the lsd went in, but I think a stock na with lsd shouldn't go any faster than 16.0 to 16.5 without help.

Give it a fresh tune up and take out everything you can. You can get an high 14 all day long. If the engine is in good shape..

Not on a stock one you can't. If you get into 15's with a stock NA FC, then you are doing good.

I have seen 3 RX7 in past weeks with 3 mods and 3 mods only : Cone filters, headers/exhaust, weight reductions.... all 3 cars were into 14s..... with no other modifications.. ??

Youronly getting 15s, that just means your not able to drive that car right, thats all. Don't say, its the cars fault, cause thats just not true.

Practice more driving and watch the 14s roll in...

It's pretty funny, the RX-7 hits a high 15.

My Cutlass hits high 13's with street tires and mid 13's on drag radials.

My Cutlass weighs about 3800 pounds. It also has a 3:10 gear. I don't see how it's faster than the RX-7...
