Apex seals are custom made but the factory assist piece is still factory material. I have nad no problem with factory seals, at 37psi. But the aftermarket seals are more forgiving.

wow !

Wierd tho how most people ErnieT,crisspeed's V8 killer and others
say they maxed out 4 1600cc injectors on Q16

V8Killer 680rwhp nearly maxed out added more injectors
ErnieT early 700's added more injectors

not too far away from 900rwhp on 4 1600cc injectors!
Man you are one the best rotary/ tuners out thats for sure

The engine build determines how much fuel is needed to make the power. A loose engine will take more fuel to make the same power. Also the pumps used to supply the injecters play a large part in the equation.

The set up is stable at 850hp and pulling it to 9300. We definately need more pump, but injecter duty had some more room.

I will have a look when I get to the shop tomorrow. We are at sea level. And inlet airtemps are matched to what we race with at the track. This is why we use uncorrected numbers.

Duty at max power was 7.5ms. I had to shut it down early as the pumps could not keep up.

The engine was using all stock components including 9-1 comp rotors. Which have been clearanced for shaft deflection. All has been done inhouse including the dowelling.

The only aftermarket modification was the long section of a 2 piece 2mm seal. Everything else is OEM.
