geez, you were going pretty fast by the end there!

My first time to the track (on the stock turbo and IC), my best was a 13.6 @ 106mph, with a 2.4 60' time.

What are your mods?

Right on. Yeah, you could easily be in the 12's with that trap.

What's with your turbo though? Is it just a wheel upgrade?

yeah, this car is a hell of a lot faster than 13.5.

We raced on the highway, and it wasn't a race he walked a nearly stock FD(that would put it in about the 13.6 area) by a lot.

i ran the best time out of the group of 7 of us that went up and i was the hero of the day because on the way up to the track we were driving down the highway and my freind was in front of me in his 500+hp 95 talon tsi and all the sudden we saw flames coming from under the car so we all pulled over and there was smoke pouring from the hood and when they opend it there was flames they were all trying to put out the flames with there jackets as i rushed over with the only fire extinguisher... one that i always keep in my car and i quickly put the fire out...and saved the car..funny thing is that they always used to make fun of me for carrying a fire extinguisher...and they all said sorry for doin so after that...lol

no man, the first and foremost thing you need to do is get some bigger tires and don't run much air pressure in them... i had bad wheel hop issues as well and as soon as i switched to a 245/55/15 using only 15lbs of air pressure it was glorius low profile tires tend to cause wheel hop alot.

i applaud you for not flaming the hell out of this moron 13bturbofc

you ran about the same time i ran my first few times at the track, the high 60' time would easily point out the problem but idiots like this who come around thinking with honda car mentalities ruin the forum.

like said with the trap you can push into the 12's with a good launch, disregard what the tool said earlier. most of wheel hop issues come from worn suspension(leaky stock struts), aired up tires(try dropping the PSI in your rear tires to 16PSI and i bet it cures most of the hop) or a fouled track(watch that the dumbass ricers don't roll through the water trap with their front tires water fouling the track, if there is any who happen to actually have a RWD...).

a pinion snubber should help also, but the tires issue is what's causing most of the hop...

nice times

I could never get my (near) stock TII over 100mph....my best trap was a 99 at 13.8something...

hey 13bturbofc.. im lookin one day to some work on my car to get it to traps around yours.. really nice work bro.. right now i have an NA but hopin to swap to tII soon.. anyway.. i think you should get a good thick set of street tires and drop the pressure to 16 or 15 psi.. just my opinion buti think its pretty cool when guys like you make awesome passes without special tires just for the track.. good luck bro!
