13.4 @ 108mph, 13psi, crappy 3 years old SP9000 225 tires.

No timeslip, was at drag competition in Croatia. Won
I thought I could go below 13secs, but there seems to be a problem in my car somehwere. I only dynoed 255whp/260tq at 12psi (with stock IC at that time).

One day I'm going to start seeing fast street driven rotaries, right?

The best trap in there was a LS1 powered 3rd gen 128mph.

It is fast, but is it reliable? I would buy another 7 in a heartbeat if someone could get me 130mph traps with reliability.

1993 CYM
Pettit Ground Kit
silicone vac hoses
45kmi original on the car/motor
original tires from 1993

1/8th mi run here in Charlotte NC
60' = 2.01
330' = 5.61
660 ET = 8.58
MPH = 83.999

I think 13.0 or 12s is just a tire change away. The stock tires are hard as a rock and also suffer from dry rot.

Went 11.58 at 120mph with the new setup. It was pretty hot high 80's and the humidity was almost 90%. I can't wait to run the car when it's cool and low humidity.

Shooting for a 10 second pass....

13.59 @ 115mph granny shifting, on and off the throttle.....the rear-end squats too much even with the HKS DRAG setup......and the tires rub.

just ran a 12.9 @ 108 last night. It was 80 outside though. It was freakin hot as hell. I have a dp,mp,PFS,intake. I need to get my front mount and a vented hood to lower temps.

I ran a 12.971@111.92mph back in March. That was on Nitto 555's, stock twins, IC, and suspension. I'm on deployment right now, but I can't wait to get back to the States and hit the low 12's.

Sorry for the double post...

Made 5 passes on July 16th.

All in the 11's, all with traps at or above 122 mph. The final pass was a 11.29 @ 126.14 MPH with a 1.59 60'. I did cut a 1.57 60' on a 11.31 pass.

The car is ready to make a solid 10 second pass. Hopefully it will be this week.

Street ported, Apexi Power intake, Downpipe,
Street tiers(goodyear Eagle F1), stock twins.
Boost was peaking(creaping) at 11psi
60ft 2.35s
1/8 9.2s
1/4 14.035s @ 103mph

Happy with the low 14... but i would had liked to get a high 13
But then again this was my first time at the strip.
Havent figured out on how to make good starts =(
Feelt like the rear was "jumping" on 1st and 2nd gear.
Also when should one shift? I shifted at 7k rpm on all gears.

How low do you ppl think iu could get with my current mods? Below 13.5s??

Dizzy, I ran 13.5 bone stock with a *boost problem*! With your mods you should have a Apexi Power FC and you should be running atleast 12.9 ETs. Hell my stock RX-7 has a 12.9-13.0 in it with some slicks so you should be running a solid 12.9 ET on street tires.

Shift at 7K in first gear, ride 2nd out to 8K then shift 3rd at 7500. Also, it sounds like you are getting wheel hop in 1st and 2nd gear. Try launching by bringing the car up to 4000-4500rpm and SLIP the clutch coming out of the hole. Also if you are on street tires GO AROUND THE WATER BOX and don't do a burnout. This will help you.

60' 2.19
330' 5.76
1/8mi 8.7@84.23
1000' 11.30@92.11
1/4mi 13.6@97.19

Running around 7-8lbs of boost(boost problem) and shutting down around the 1/8mi to 1000'. I was bracket racing and didnt expect the car to pull as hard as it did that time.

Can anyone estimate the 1/4 mile time if I would have stayed on it? a 13.2 or so?

Cool 10.9 @ 126mph on Nittos and pump gas(94)

Here's the last three runs with smaller T63 turbo...

1st round:
60 ft: 1.623
330: 4.634
1/8: 7.085 @102.91mph
1000: 9.215
1/4: 11.006 @ 126.48mph

2nd round:
60 ft: 1.596
330: 4.611
1/8: 7.073 @ 99.59mph
1000: 9.196
1/4: 10.992 @ 125.78mph

3rd round:
60 ft: 1.687
330: 4.918 < 1/8: 7.430 @100.08mph
1000: 9.554
1/4: 11.344 @ 126.60mph

With new turbo I've run 104mph in the 1/8th but having issues running a full 1/4 mile with no cage at the track......keep getting booted!!!!

Maybe this friday night I'll make it happen:-)
