Pump is 93 octane. I have run as much as 17 psi on pump, but it's too close to the edge in my opinion. Apex seals break. Anything more, I plan on running c16 (116 octane race gas). Being in NJ now I run Sunoco 94 Octane exclusively for added protection.

Just a simple few questions from another noobie..
I have a 1998 FD (Australian Spec..)
Looking at throwing upgraded twins, and leaving them as sequential.
We run on 98 octane pump down here in the Southern Hemisphere.
With a stock engine, HKS DP, High Flow Cat, Racing Beat Twin CB (Or similar), Vmount or water to air cooler, fuel and ECU. what kind of power/times would i be looking at? Would the BNR's be the best for a twin sequential? Or would i be better off throwing some BB aftermarket turbo's and external gates on?

From what I can see we are talking around $2000 difference ..small change considering the amount I am looking at spending.
Is there going to be much difference between the two (Besides somewhat shorter spool times on the BB units...)

The BNRs will be much more of a bolt up affair, and will give more of a stock/sleeper look. Also will be much cheaper to repair when you shoot an apex seal chunk through the turbine.
Also, BNRs run sequentially will give more low end than just about any decent-sized BB single, while still pulling like a freight train to redline.

Pulling like a freight train...yep sounds good..
How would bolting TWIN BB's onto the factory manifold go? Smaller BB's obviously maybe GT28R sized? Using adapter platers as necessary and either integral WG or modifying the factory actuators to blow external gates?
Basically I am chasing 10's..but don't wish to start spending $$ until i have the route mapped out. High 10's with minimal to no lag would be brilliant.. Reasonable amounts of cash is not a problem.
My main problem is my local dealers mainly deal in old school Rotors. Most australian quick rotors are still using 10 year old technology.
