Widebody advice
I'm considering buying the Corksport 30mm front fenders. I haven't yet decided on a wheel/tire combo yet though. I know that I want to run at least a 17 x 9 in the rear and a 17 x 8 up front. Should I roll the rear fenders or buy the aftermarket ones and mold em in?
At this point, I'm thinking that rolling the rears will suffice.
What do you guys think?

tire size (actual measured width) will play a larger role in your fitment and offset decision...
-you can fit a 17x8 with a 235 up front under a barely rolled stock fender if you run coilovers or some spring/strut combos work too.
-you can fit a 275 out back on a 17x9 or 17x10 if you roll the fenders just a little.
-to keep it inexpensive, you can run those front 30mm fenders and a 255 wide tire and a 275 out back under stock fenders and the car will have like-stock balanced handling.
you can fit a 295 or 305 under some of the 30mm wider rear fenders that are from the same companies as most of the 30mm fronts. I run a 285 out back and it fits with ease under a 30mm over fender like the Bmagic stuff on ebay thru RaceOnUsa

17x8 17x9 will fit with no rolling, no need fenders
i even mounted a 17x8 + 35 with a 235/40 upfront and it fit wihtout rubbing anything, despite everyone saying it was impossible.

As mentioned before, I would run the front flares with a 255 tire, 9" wheel with an offset ~ +10 or so.

Really, unknown springs...If you want to go a little wider come on over your springs are ~300lb front(cut 1/2 a coil off), and ~180rear. 450frt/275 rear is what you want. whatever manufacturer makes a decent set-up valved for that will be fine. the tein/JIC will need rebuilding fairly regularly, GC/Koni cannot be beat. The sports are ~125 each, and then ~300 for the GC, and 50/spring.(1000.00) reliable, upgradeable, and fairly priced. LMK.

Haha...thanks Carl...
I didn't know what springs I had, man!
And I don't want to go 'wider' in that respect my friend
so should I stick with the Illuminas and just up the springs? Or go with the GC/Koni?
It's getting to be about that time to replace the illuminas anyway...

i'm running 17x9 SSRs with a +45 offset all around with 255/40/17s on stock struts and H&R springs with stock/unrolled fenders.
if you are going with a widebody kit that is 1.25" wider (25mm = 1") i think you are gonna want wider rims than 8 or 9". i'm no expert on widebody conversion, but i would think that you are probably looking at 10" wide up front and maybe 11" in the rear depending on offset.

The Illumas cannot handle more spring. They have a life time warranty, sell the springs with the shocks to someone. Keep the camber plates, they are a one off from Tripoint. You can run 255-40-17 up front on an 8-9" rim(people will say 8 is too small, but I have run it with good results) in the back. I'd mold a corksport (or similar) flare, and run a 275-40-17 on a 9.5" rim. Use 6" backspacing in the rear, and 5-5.5" in the front depending on rim size. Alternately, a 255-40-17 all around with no rear flare, and the BN knock-off fender up front. Have fun, Carl

255 / 40 / 17 approved rim widths 8.5" to 10.0".
Yokohama Advan A032R
255 / 40 / 17 approved rim widths 8.5" to 10.0".
Yokohama Advan A048
255 / 40 / 17 approved rim widths 8.5" to 10.0".
Bridgestone S-03 Pole Position
255 / 40 / 17 approved rim widths 8.5" to 10.0".
You can verify those numbers on their websites.
I don't approve of running a 255 / 40 / 17 tire on a 8.0" wide rim, and neither do these tire manufacturers for these particular tire models.
I'd suspect that most of the tire manufacturers would recommend at least a 8.5" rim width for this particular size for the majority, if not all, of their tire models.
I'd trust the tire manufacturer rather than someone's personal opinion on this matter.
