hey just to help the community out there is a shop by my house that pushed out all my bushings for 250 bucks. http://tf-works.com/ they did an great job and it was pretty cheap. I know shipping them over here might be a pain, again they got them all out in a day and everything went smooth. I took all the suspension pieces out of my car and brought them to them. Now I just got to get the new bushings in ;P

Those of you with Superpro bushings how difficult was it for you to mount up everything after the new bushings were pressed in? Reason i ask is i spent about an hour trying to get my front upper arm in and it still doesn't line up with the holes. It's like the bushing that in there is to big. Anyone else run into this?

I was able to get them in but I had to work at it. I'm scarred that they may squeak with the tight fit.

Grease the crush bushing and the outside of the bushing with that Energy Suspension grease and it shouldn't squeak

My rear upper arms were a bitch. I had to tap them in with a mallet. I lubed them up real good on the sides too. When I manually move the whole assembly through its travel they squeak and it actually looks like the bushings stay stationary and the control arm moves around the bushings... oh well im sure they will sort themselves out when I get it back on the road

Were you worried about the eccentric bushings being difficult to set properly?

Which stock bushings are you ordering from Ray? Are you replacing your ball joints?

Powerflex sells the LCA bushing (shock mount) if you're interested in a PU replacement

Also, apparently the rubber boots for my ball joints all have cracks in them, so you may want to replace those while you're in there

Ok, usually when the term "pillowball" is used with reference to these cars, it refers to the six soild bushings at the rear, not the ball joints at each corner

I ordered the kit from Hinson awhile back and literally just realized I was missing the shock mounts and have the eccentric mounts too. I'm dissatisfied about this.

yea i know, if its awhile back i dont think they can do anything about it now... i do wish they would state what kit it is on their site, first thing i did when i got it was check it all out to make sure its exactly what i ordered which should be done with anything,..

I spoke with hinson and apparently they sell two different kits, which the confusion stems from that not being stated on the site. I called and ordered mine at which time I also was not told. After speaking to Brian, I think but I'm not sure that's his name, he quickly figured things out and seems to be eager to rectify the situation. So far I'm very pleased with their service and hope to hear back soon to figure out exactly what is going to happen.

For the eccentric sleeves for the rear upper control arm I'm just having some center bored replacement sleeves made just incase I may want the eccentric sleeves in the future. Brian is working on finding out if he can get me the only two bushings that are missing that were listed as being part of the kit.

Will 6 ton press enough to press all the bushing out or we need 12 ton press to do it?
