You'll need a spacer larger than 20mm all around, more like an inch.

20 would be a tighter fit, and would look better. If you plan on going wider in the future, a 30 might be a better choice. What fenders are you going to run?

iirc the 99-04 mustang wheels have the bolt pattern and offsets that work well with our cars.

Running 205's on 9.5j's right now. It's because i'm trendy and stupid. They're almost dead. Going to stuff some 225 or 235 feddy rs-r's under there next and see how they do for me. With my camber settings, whatever patch i have with 35 psi on the 205's isn't enough grip for throwing the car hard at speed without touching the handbrake. I drift.....which is also trendy and stupid to most of this forum.

Quite simply I:

Thanks in advance for the help!
114.3 x 4 or 114.3 x 5

Spacers serve to reduce offset so +40 with a 15mm spacer becomes a +25

Stock offset is +40 on a 7"/6.5"/6" and 5.5" rim

16x8 +30 All Around

Hi guys,

I have done tons of searching but did not find any answers to my question. Feel free to respond with a link if you can find anything that I could not... but I highly doubt it. I recently purchased (4) 16x8 +30 wheel's for my S4 RX-7. Would running 225/50/16's on all 4 corners cause any issues?. I know the back will fit with no problems (might be wrong?), but the front is what I am concerned about. I am still on stock suspension, again it is for an S4 on stock suspension trying to run 16x8 +30 225/50/16 tires. I will be upgrading my suspension (coilovers) in the very near future. Thanks for all your input ahead of time.

Haha, that is correct. I'm still unsure if the 225/50/16 tires on the 16x8 +30 wheels will clear in the front but the only way to tell now is to try them on when they come in. I guess I will let everyone know.

I just purchased a set of MB Battles 17x9.5 all around for my S4 Turbo II. I'm looking to set it up for grip because it will be making ~500hp. Any help? What size tires? Would I need fenders? Stock suspension for now, but will be getting Stance Gr+ pro coils very soon.

They will clear no problem, it wouldn't hurt to roll the fender lip up to eliminate any chance of the tire catching the lip when you go through bumps. You can even run a 245 in the rear if you want a staggered look.

You'll need <17mm offset on the wheels to clear the suspension up front - with coilovers. You would need a very aggressive pull on the stock fenders, or 20-30mm wide fenders from shine or corksport (shine's are 20mm measured) With this, you can run 255's all around, or 255's up front and 275's in the rear. The fronts will not fit unless you're running coils. Make sure the wheel bearings are nice and tight also.

Okay, I got 15mm offset for the fronts so I'm sure that will be perfect.

Would I have to run the vented corksport fenders or are the other ones fine? I have a stock body FC and would hate to put the vented fenders on there and I'm having trouble finding Shineauto fenders for sale...

Oh thought this might be helpful for those who have trouble finding the perfect rim sizes for their applications. http://www.fc3spro.com/TECH/MODS/RT/rims.htm

Now handle it!
