So, I happen to have my Advan RGII's from my RX-8 I won't be using until it's rebuilt. I just picked up an 88 vert and just found out they share the same P.C.D.

So, would my 18x8.5 +31mm offset RGII's with 255R40 tires fit alright?

Yes, I've seen "optimal" 18" fitments from a guy named Deltr0n on TeamFC3S, and it was 18 x 9 and 18 x 10 +25 all around.

Hope he doesn't mind me using his pics...

What are the wheel offsets? I wouldn't even bother with 7.5's.

Test Fitting 18x8 +38mm in the front. Looks like they will fit to me. Might go with a 3-5mm spacer so the center cap will clear the dust cover.

I've got 18x9 +38mm for the rears, there was no question rather they would fit. Guess it's time to order some rubber.

Just wondering if 18x8 with 35 offset front and rear would work on my vert with tanabe springs and tokico struts? Also what size tire would need to be run? Thanks. Im a noob when it comes to wheel fitment.

Yes they will work. You'll want to run a 225/40/18.

In my pictures above I have no spacer. Tokico Blue Shocks, and Eibach springs.
I was suggesting that I might use spacers in order to use my wheels centercaps.

So If I run 17X8 +25 all four corners I should be fine, right?

Yup! If you lower the car though, might be wise to roll the lips on the front fenders flat, so you don't catch the edge while hitting bumps with the wheel turned.

I know a guy selling cheap BBS LM's, 17X7.5 and 40 offset. Boy I'm tempted, but should I should sacrifice and run spacers with kind of a shitty width? The thought of Gold LM's on my white s5 has me wetting myself a little.

Thoughts?

I probably already know the answer to this question but...

my rears are at 17x9 +17. When I went to go roll the rear fenders I noticed they have a metal lip under the fender. My wheels are just BARELY rubbing against those lips. Am I missing something or do I just need to get some adjustable camber links and run some neg camber in the rear? BTW tires are 235/40

If the +0 fit in the fenders then the +15 should be fine.
