Are there any down sides to having such large tyres on the car, the traction must be rally good when your pulling off hard, or is it all for looks.

Weight, if that's something you are concerned about.

Speedking - Is that your black FD? One of the nicest I have ever seen! If I owned it I would ONLY tint the windows and switch to a Scoot headlamp, everything else is exceptional.

Section 8 - I really don't think Pettit built that car. The owner had a vision "hey, why not go against the grain and put MY badges upside down....yeah, that would be coooool"

Raj, no it's not. I believe it belongs to Chuck Huang of Rotary Extreme.

The red one has Pettit flares bolded with fiberglass. This gives it a clean stock look. IMHO molded Pettit flares is the best look for a wide body Fd.

ya im planing on haveing mine moulded in as well it looks much better. Regarding the wider wheels i was told by a good frend that i may have to upgrade the dif, drive shaft and propshaft if im gona be doing alot of hard Launches not to mention the bolts on the drive shaft.

If your going to be doing hard launches at the strip, yes you will need to upgrade your drivetrain (especially if your going to run slicks) however; it's not neccessary for hard lauches on the street. Wheel spin takes away the stress on the drivetrain because of the lack of traction.
