Sean, my engine is the one that Kyle K. is building. We were the ones that had the problem with the headers. But everything is worked out now. I do have one question though, did you send out an intake to Kyle? Also, feel free to use these pics on your website. They are really good pics of ya'lls kit outside the engine bay.

Cool. I came back home to Texas and went to see me engine and car. We got the intake in. It's nice man, the AEM oil free filter. It looks pretty cool too. Thanks

The divided T4 will definitely get you there. It is the only one that can do it without overworking the compressor side.

I must have missed the pricing for the 500r kit in here somewhere. Will you please PM or post a price for an FD T4 1.0 complete kit and the Turbo only?

Thank You, D

10psi or even less should meet your hp goals, equal hp and torque numbers would be a hard thing to do rotaries tend to put out more hp than torque.

I don't see a issue if you run the newer 500R's we are making with a 1.0 A/r TH. The 35R turbine might be a bit on the small side for a HBP motor.

WA price comparison?

Hi, I am about to buy a GT35R turbo kit and I have been looking all over for prices and I have a question: Why is it that your kit is almost $1,000 more than the equivalent from Rx7 Store? I realize that yours comes already with the Tial Wastegate that is some more money ( I dont know how much does RX7 Store charge for that ) but is there anything else your kit has that theirs doesnt?
I read something about the quality of the manifolds not being too good on the RX7 Store ones?
Any information would be appreciated.
Thank you very much...
Leo

Leo, RX7 store kits are good if your on a budget. I wont knock RX7store kits for what you get for the price, however it is completely different from what we sell. There are differences in the turbo, the materials, parts included, and warranty.

Hope that helps some.

If there is one thing I have learned in life , it's that you get what you pay for. Nobody is buying turbo x from seller A for $1000 more than turbo x from seller b. The answer is simple the kits are different. You can buy a 13B specific exhaust manifold for $100, it's ****, but it's a $100. This also says alot about the seller. Certain vendors are not only in it for the money, but for the sport, the scene, and for happy customers. When ordering my kit I got to speak to Sean for almost an hour about everything from a/r's to manifolds to fueling. How many shop owner/ custom fabricators have that kind of time? Anyway i'm not trying to kiss *** here or anything but the whole process with A-Spec has been top notch thus far, also Ryan has been a huge help fielding all my concerns and requests.

Spend the extra money, and get what you want.

Beau

WA GT35R rebuild...

Thanks for the replies. That cleared the image for me. Since I was on a budget as Sean put it, I bought an A-Spec GT35R but a used one and it had the turbine wheel chipped.
Since I haven't had luck getting my PM's thru, I wanted to ask here if you guys (A-Spec) sell the turbine wheel to replace it? And also some kind of rebuild kit for it?
And a final question, I know that the wheel being chipped will cause the turbo not to generate the maximum amount of boost it will in perfect conditions and it will be slightly unbalanced but, as per the picture I am posting, do you think it will be too much of a problem to install it like that and think about replacing it in the near future ( 6 months )?
The person I bought it from said that he didn't even know it was damaged because it didn't feel any different until he dismantled it.
Thanks you for your help...
Leo
