Hi, after being taken out in my friends 1987 ford sierra cosworth RS500 i have decided that i need to ditch the twins.

If its not too much trouble i have a couple of questions. I would like to know if i would need to change anythign in my current setup to use on of these kits.

I currently have a rotary extreme fuel rail with 550cc primaries and 1600cc bosh secondaries i am using a walboro 255lt p/h in tank pump. Runnign off a SARD FPR.

I have a single plate exedy single plate clutch and a HKS twin power ignition amplifier.

I do not yet have a FMIC, do you recomend any specific one ?

also does the wastegate vent back into the downpipe or to atmosphere ? Or will i need ot get that bit made up ?

Lastly I have a RHD JDM car and i am in the UK. after reading through some replies am i right in thinking that a manifold for a RHD is different ? if so is this a problem. Lastly would you be prepared to ship to the United Kingdom, if not then i appologise for waisting your time.

Many thanks

Craig

I will have a RHD manifold pretty soon. I just want to get somewhat caught up on the existing orders. We can reroute the wastegate if you wish. I would say all you would need to do is upgrade the IC as stated and you should be pretty good to go.

Sean, few questions, I have the T4/35R kit(low rise), guessing conservatively, what HP am I looking at with 550 primaries, 1300 secondaries, mild streetport with all the mods keeping 85%injector duty(15-16psi max boost)?
I am breaking the new engine in and hopefully Kan will tune, but I am debating wether or not I should get a rail, 1600 secondaries, FPR etc..... looking to get hopefully 400-420 at the wheels.
what do you suggest?
thanks
Joe C

BTW is the trans brace still on sale?

Still working on getting the RHD manifold done but once it is cost would be the same as listed. I will get a shipping quote together though for you.

I always suggest 1600's over 1300's. With the right amount of fuel and tune your goal will be no problem.

going with fresh OEM 1600's is always better than going with "bored out" 1300's...

good luck

and i think the tranny brace is still on sale

Could you PM me with the prices of both the GT35R and the 500R kits? I'm looking at both and I'm trying to decide which would be best for my setup.

You would need a manifold made to fit the application. Check with gonzz on here I sold him a turbo, he already had a manifold, maybe he can point you in the right direction.

2 questions:

1) What is the current wait time for both the GT35R kits and the 500R kits, and the pricing for each?

2) For stock ports vs. large streetport, which kit would you recommend?

We are currently about three weeks out. Sometimes they get out sooner sometimes they get out later. But on average about three weeks. Pricing is listed in the other thread, 35R kits start at $3499, 500R kits at $3699

The 500R will out flow the 35R by quite a bit up top. But it's bigger advantage is it's ability to stay more efficient at higher pressure ratios. Example, at 75lbs/min it is at the same efficiency as the 35R is at 58lbs min. So you can effectively run 242.5 CFM more and not generate any more heat doing it. If your only going to run 15psi on a stock port motor just buy the 35RT4, if your looking to run higher boost on a large ported motor go with the 500R.

Currently too busy with what we have on our plate at the moment. But we have thought about it. The exhaust ports on those plates aren't too conducive for flowing larger turbine with the same response you standard 13b housings would.
