RX-Club Meeting - August 7th 2007

Greetings all,
It's that time again, time for the August RX-Club Meeting. This months meeting will be held at Gabby's BBQ just off 610 North Loop. This is a great location with plenty of parking so let's see what kind of turnout we can have.

I hope to have some great announcements about our fall events coming up and might even bring out some Mazda and Sevenstock goodies in celebration of the upcoming Sevenstock 10 event in California.

Date: Tuesday, Auguest 7th 2007
Time: Meet in the parking lot as early as 6pm, head inside for dinner around 7pm

If anyone coming to the meeting has any of these items, i am in the market for some

In-Tank Fuel Pump ( Aftermarket please, nothing huge, just going to run duals)
Secondarie Fuel Rail for 1600cc
2 X 1600cc Injectors
Fuel Pressure Reg (External w. Gauge would be nice)

Anything eles that would be helpfull in the changing of my secondaries, I will have some primary injectors that have less than 4K on them sence the last cleaning for sell after i am done with the swap.

Im going to try and make the meet guys, havent been back in the 7 loop for a couple years....if my inspection sticker comes in by then, ill be there

 

You get your insp. sticker delivered... lucky you. Nearly everyone I know has to go to a station to get them.

Just kidding.

 

If anyone has a spare stock S5 O2 sensor - I'd appreciate it if you brought it. I'll buy you some BBQ.

I'm working on a 13B REW project so if anyone has any new gaskets, seals, or rebuild parts that they didn't use let me know. I'm also looking for large streetport templates - intake and exhaust.

Also if anyone is interested in the following, let me know:

- Stock FD twins,exhaust manifold, Y-pipe, misc intake piping

- All kinds of FC accessories - water pump housings, AC compressors, power steering pumps, good looking S5 turbo flywheel...

- In addition, I have an S4 underbelly pan, a stock radiator shroud that someone has mounted an electric fan into and FD spindles.

 

I plan to attend.

 

Yeah its my first time getting a inspection sticker dropped off to me.....if only it wasnt dumping a lil to much fuel

 

I hear ya, trust me look at my exhaust and you will know this was a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black. See you Tuesday.

Don't forget next month's meeting is the tailgate party for Houston Energy football team www.houstonenergyfootball.com.

The Houston Energy is Houston's own (3-time champion) Womens Professional Football League team.

Our own Lori B. is a starter for the team and will be at the meeting with tickets for the game as well as season ticket packages if you are interested. Single game ticekts are 10 dollars and season tickets are 40 dollars. 100% of each ticket you purchase goes towards her sponsorship (pays for equipment and such). If you own a business there are also advertising options avalible for the game programs.

She's always around supporting the club so be sure to show your thanks and support for her and pickup your tickets tomorrow night or just throw a donation in the helmet if you can't make the games.

Her first home game will be September 8th at 7pm, the tailgate party will start about 3 to 4pm.

 

wow sounds, good i plan on being there with my racing fc.....the 3 rotors is down at the moment for tunning....fd will be ready tommorow after my i put my clutch in......

 

I'll be there, just finished the SE suspension to my 79SA now the brakes are much better.The FD is under the knife so wiil see what happens

 

I was planning on coming to the meeting, but ended up being busy working on a customer's very sick modified FD.

Nice meet guys, wish i could have showed up...Got my inspection sticker all taken care of so next meet i should be there. I think im going to Houston Raceway Park sunday when i actualy get the sticker on....anyone wanna join me?
