Help with FD, Houston area
Hi guys, I'm looking at a FD roller right now. Its a 93 auto with 83,000 and a blow motor. I was wondering if anyone around the Houston area rebuilt these motors, and how much would you change me for parts and labor. Thanks
Below are a few pics.

I am one of the Houston re builders, my motors are all around, and haven't had any problems with them.
There are a number of people on here that will give you info on me.
If you can, come to the next Rx club Meeting and we can talk about it. I have a pretty fast turn around.

a 1jz and 2 jz are about the same as far as installing them, the mounting kit is prety much the same on both engines. the hardest part is getting all the plumbing done, your going to need an different intetrcooler, piping, radiator, hoses, fuel lines, ect.

To do the Toyota engine swap and do it correctly will still be expensive.
Maybe more than the LS1 since parts will be more expensive.
Best you talk with people who have done swaps. Best way to save on money is do the work yourself.
