It's not happening. There aren't enough people paid up and there simply isn't enough time left to realistically make up lost ground. If the club had enough money in the bank to make up the shortfall it would still happen. Unfortunately it just doesn't have $1,000 sitting around doing nothing. I'll be sending an e-mail out to the registrants tomorrow to break the bad news to those that don't already know.

Oh well, we need to find another car club with active members that will adopt us, so we can go racing with them.

In the mean time I'm working on trying to resurrect old glories. Yes, I know that's impossible but it won't keep me from trying. Regular participation is one thing that just can't be substituted. My post-shooting two year hiatus didn't help matters much but I'll keep trying anyhow. Even if it's just me and FrankenRex, there will be a D/FW RX-7 Club.

Nope, you djork.

What about you, how fast you went????

No idea, but I remember starting to catch some red FD with chrome rims the last time out at MSR. Nick was behind me for some laps in the orange monster and said I was using the track effectively, so I imagine with equal HP, it wouldn't be a problem to spank some FD butt....

Steve posted his times, how about your times???

No times, Ive never been to that track...

Are you one of these people that always trying to be bigger, better, faster and having the last word.

The very same question is actually more applicable to your "bad" self...just look at the pitiful "tit-for-tat" exchange over watches in this very thread for absolute proof of what I say...

I don't have any times to post, but they would be very slow.

At 86 HP at the rear wheels, I wouldn't want to see my times at MSR, that's for sure....Nick asked last time, "Why were you slowing down after Rattlesnake?", "Man, my foot never came off the floor after Rattlesnake, even for the left sweeper, that's all she had..."....

1:22 is real quick around that course. The class up from me is running times near that.

We run Toyo RA-1's. They stick decent (nothing near a Hoosier), but they last a long time. My car makes 221hp at the wheels.

A posse? I must've moved up a few rungs on the 'cool' ladder.
Some female groupies would be cool. They'll need to bring gloves, though.

My best on street tires was around 1:26-1:27. It was done by Andy B's supra and Eric Michelle's silver's rx7.
