I absolutely recommend the EV14 body injectors to the older style. I had the older Ultimate Fuel system and eventually upgraded the injectors. Idle and low end fueling was hard to dial in. The ID/ev14 design is superior in every way. Furthermore, I would recommend stepping away from the PFC with this setup. Haltech now makes their Platnum series that can utilize the stock harness. The functions, control, idle and programming capabilities are leaps ahead of the PFC.

The 1000's have been setup as primaries with a little tweaking. However, if you are shooting high, an Excessive manifold could help supply the fuel while maintaining the better low end control. The upgraded ECU will also benefit from this.

I had a local buddy tell me the same thing about the injectors. He told me that 850's were really hard to tune at idle and at low end. So I decided that I am ditching my current injector setup and going with the ID1000's and 2000's. Also, I am currently saving up money for the Haltech PS1000 because I also decided to ditch the PFC I had lol. Which Haltech Platinum ECU allows you to use the stock harness? I was planning on getting the one the already had the fully terminated harness.
