^ That's a 20B, at the budget the OP posted that's not really a feasible option, but in reality it's the closest thing he could get to achieving all his goals.

#1 your engine will be blown before this year is over
#2 700hp & drift car dont mix
#3 700hp & fast spool dont mix (unless you go PP port or full bridge)
#4 do you even have the funds to complete what your trying to accomplish. Not to forget you need the fuel to supply the power, a nice transmission unless you plan on paying $500 every 6 months to replace them. Expensive clutch, decent boost controller, Big *** intercooler, Nice cooling system, built motor, twin oil coolers, DOT or drag radials to control the power to the ground

#5 it takes alot of skill to be able to handle 700hp without killing yourself
#5 it takes even more skill to be able to have 700hp and not make yourself look like an ***. as if you only have 400hp which happens alot on the street

400rwhp is my goal with my FB which is plenty of power. With my previous turbo I had 365rwhp which was already pretty crazy and required me to go WB to get some traction.

700rwhp? I would say that is undriveable and only useful for a drag car.

I got a chuckle out of this post.... Maybe this is the time to ask my question..... I'm looking for a tire that can pull a 1 G turn, gets me the same 60 ft times as a m/t slick , doesn't have insane road noise, decent off roading capabilities and must be great for these northern ny snow storms.... Any suggestions?

You know I was trying hard not to make any comment on this thread, but Im going to share my mind.. Lets see how bias this place can be: This is for all the people who the cap fits.. If it doesnt then Im not talking to you.

Some of you guys are highly nauseating with your comments. Who gives a rat ars if the user wants it for the street? he asked one question"what turbo...." and some of you guys have your head up your ars cause you know so god damn much to try a dictate to him that he's asking for istoo much, it wont last, he better off with less power etc..wtf?

If this is the case....Why did ANY of you not criticize Crispeed when he showed you a street driven 690whp street RX7? Come on spill it? was it that you pulled your head out of your own ars to put up his?

I can tell you guys that sometimes when you read people post on here it just so cringing and filled with condescending remarks that all you want to do is not log on.

*you all can now continue by tell me that the forum is a place for free speech and how some of you refuse to pull your head out of your ars etc. then proceed to tell me that you are only trying to make the OP a realistic dream... Pure garbage...

Let the freggin man dream.... let the man try something and if he fails, he tried his best, he'll learn and move on.

JDMFD777 sorry for thread hiking.

so people should let him do trial and error and waste tons of money to try and accomplish something thats not practically possible?

if people just wanted to "try something and maybe fail", then they would not come to a forum asking for other peoples experience and knowledge.

in fact....he came here asking a question specifically so he could avoid that very scenario.

his goals were not realistic/possible, so people let him know. now he can re-evaluate and decide what compromises he wants to make, and put together a better plan.

Here comes the lone ranger to the help..

That was one of the stupids things you could say... Who are you to tell him that his hp goals aren't realistic? He asked about a turbo not how can he build a 700 hp car. Do you honestly think its right someone can tell him that he can not use a 700hp rx7 to drift? Do you know his skill level? Do you know anything about him?

You guys tend to go off on a tangent in these thread. What he wants to do with 700hp is his problem. He came in and asked TURBO SIZING with the least amount of lag for to achieve 600-700hp. Nothing Else.

Whats funny is that no one knew what he was putting it into. Could have been a frigging camaro with a 12a, yet people started to make ASSumptions that a 700hp FD is unnecessary. (Are you telling me that people dont have their head up their ***** here?

BTW, what you should do is get off your high horse for a bit, and stop trying to twist what I said into some other meaning. Alot of us who work on our cars have walked that path of trying things out, whether practical or not. Its part of the whole modifying thing. I have no problem in someone saying "boy thats alot of power for the street", but then not given any type of solution other than.. thats not attainable is just plain ignorant.

So they're saying In other words.. if I cant do it then you cant either, cause its impossible or Im too lazy to try myself.

Just because the man doesn't know how to size a turbo doesn't mean he can not drive the blasted things. There are TONS of people who can drive and don't know a thing about building an engine.

I guess your one of them who'll say.. It unrealistic to have a 700hp drag car if your a plumber too ehh? Cause it's too expensive right?

I can't speak for everyone but these threads get tiresome because he could have found exactly the info he needed from reading or asking a more detailed question in an existing thread. Weather or not he can drive it or afford it doesn't concern me, it's the fact that he is headed down a VERY long road trying to make 700 hp but he can't take the time to do a little research and read a couple EXISTING threads.

800hp is where it's at anyway!

Indian if you read the whole thread, he does mention what hes putting it into as well as his goals which aren't just 700 rwhp. 700 rwhp isn't the problem, its what he wants to be able to do with the 700 rwhp. Whether he can drive or not isn't anyones concern, he'll find that out soon enough.

Hey Guys..feel you on what your saying.. and I agree, Allen with a little searching he could have found his answers..totally agree with you on this one

But check this...

No one knew what he was putting it into until post 16... no one knew what he wanted to do with it until post 15. So how many post in between are any value?
I can also say that most of the people who are telling him what he wants to do with it probably have never owned much less driven a 700hp rx7. There are maybe three to four guys in here that know what it is like to own a 700hp rx7 and maybe two of them drive it on the street.

I can appreciate people making jokes in the thread, people who actually know anything, who have helped other people, like you two guys. But posts where idiots are telling people that "things they want are unrealistic", especially if you dont know the full potential of someone is down right dry.

I mean ..look on post 30.. seriously? Pure garbage..
Again, this is a public forum, I can be told to just not come on if I dont want to reaad this type of crap, but what if other people decide not to come on either and go some where else? This forum is a good forum with lots of knowledgeable people, yet we have morons filling threads with garbage.

Honestly I think a lot of people on here know that people always want a number without knowing what they are after. It is very rare someone comes in here wanting 700hp and actually have driven a 700hp car. This forum is old, it has so much info on here(too much) that you could build a serious car without even posting up once, just by searching. I bet if the OP had asked "I'm looking at a 700hp and a 42R seems to be the choice. What's your guys opinion?" Do you think people would be so quick to pounce on him? I'm not attacking you and I agree some of this stuff is unwarranted. But a few guys in this thread have been on here for ten years plus and I'm sure they are bit short fused on posts such as this. I for one got fed up in the auto lounge section with "New RX7" posts every other day.

Sean, Thats a fair point of view. I can understand what your saying about the way he could have presented his question, at the same time, there are a few serious enthusiast in here can not string a proper sentence together. Judging someone of the merit of how they start a thread is wrong to me.

I can understand that people are tired of the same ole thread started when people could have searched, but no one suggested it to the OP.. maybe he did..who knows.. then the bullshit started.

The knowledgeable members who are sick of people jumping on with these weird ars question you, Aleen, wired, still tried to help.
Even if you laughed at it, you guys gave some indepth on turbo spec's, that gives you a little bli to criticize what it is for.. . unlike some of the **** posts that filled the rest of this thread.

What does telling the man he cant drive it or that he can not afford to do it? People should exercise some type of etiquette on these forums.

I've been on here for a while and have seen some of these people you talk about, but I dont see you guys going around telling them crap like what I see in here. Maybe Im getting older or something, but I been noticing more and more threads like this over the years and it sucks ***.

maybe Im ranting too much, just hate to see a pretty good section of this forum go to waste more and more each day.

no...he did not just ask for a turbo to make 700hp, as you put it.

his exact words are for a FAST spooling STREET turbo for 6-700hp.

this is info he could find by using the search (or atleast a starting point so he could post an educated/prepared question) and also did not post any other supporting info up front (usually helpful if you want an accurate response). posts like that require some questioning from the people trying to help him.

then in his next post, he clarifies "i need it capable for drifting, track, and atlas 10 sec on the drag strip."

a 6-700hp fast spooling street turbo that can equally do drift track and drag is not a very practical setup, you generally have to sacrifice in one area to enhance another, so its a game of compromise. wouldnt you agree?

ill agree with your point that people dont need to question what other cars he has driven, or what experience he has..... clearly that is not necessary.

but the rest of the points in the thread are legit and helpful, and he didnt seem to have a problem clarifying his intended details to get a better answer, so why do you?

IMO, you are completely overreacting, and have polluted the thread just as much as the people youre complaining about. (as am i apparently, lol)
