Hmm, injecting water into the engine bay? is that what it basically does?

Wouldn't that harm the engine.

No, the water is injected directly into the intake manifold. It affords additional cooling of the intake charge (more than a standard air-to-air intercooler can offer) to safeguard against detonation and also helps with the atomization of the air/fuel mixture to provide more controlled combustion.

I'm really not trying to come off as a dick here, but you seem to have a REALLY nice car while lacking some pretty critical automotive knowledge.

Well thanks for the answer Wompa164. The deal is I've never really stepped a car up to this caliber. I am learning along the way and it is quite difficult to learn with ZERO shops near my area, closest ones are +4 hours away, and are quite sketch. I am learning day by day and trying to play it safe. But i do understand where your coming from but im here to learn, and i love to ask as many questions that i can even if they do sound like i'm retarded. Sorry.
