Mine has never built pressure, not even once, even after beating on it repeatedly. Then again, it was built for a little more than I am pushing through it. Just like Viking War Hammer's setup which has the same core (4.5" thick) and heat exchanger(big), which is sold as their 600-1200hp kit.

I did my water to air back in 1999,, 10yrs noprobs. 14+14 + 4" core, bilge pump , and radiator 1975 Cadillac evap core with welded fittings.
will start to get hot on short ,tight autocross, or 3-4 street drag runs, but a 5min light cruise it comes back down, 10-20* above ambient, in Texas.
one thing i did find out about it was on long cruises, at no boost ,65-70, gets better MPG with pump shut off, GO figure!! course you gotta remember to turn on if someone wants to play!

Found some of this stuff here. It's Unicoil. They only have it up to 1" sizes though.
