Turboing Issues...

Ive just recently turboed my 86' GX, and even more recently (today) installed a boost gauge. I got it all installed, and everything seems to check out, it has about a -20 vaccuum at idle, but when i go to boost, it doesnt go past 5 PSI. Ive turned up the boost controller (manual) but it still wont go past 5 PSI.

Its probably my stupidity, but i really dont know why it wont boost higher.

Could it be the turbo? Boost controller? or the gauge....?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan

Do you have any idea what you are doing? Do you know much boost your suppose to be running? Do you have it tuned for anything over 5PSI? What are you looking to boost at?
I would check for simple things like boost leaks..

As far as i know, and have been told, everything is set up for a max of 14 PSI. Im looking to boost somewhere around 10. As far as i know, there are no boost leaks, it was all checked out about 2 weeks ago.
