turbo identification

I just got a turbo today but i dont know what it is? its a Garrett and says on it

Looks like a diesel turbo off of something due to the small hot side, amount of carbon/oil in the down pipe and the egt gauge bung.

Also hook up a compressed air sorce to the Wg actuator to see what psi it opens at. If it was off a diesel I'm sure it will take alot to open it.
