13B-RE mounts the same as an FC engine, no? Mounts to center housing.
Might not be a drop-in replacement for an FD, in other words.
But for an engine swap, hell why not... just scrape off the stock turbos and put something decent on there

you can use an fd housing, and a turbo 2 housing. acutally the stock cosmo housing bolts up fine, it only has one bolt different

Well, if you wanted to put the engine in a FD and not have to fabricate a way of mounting it...
A used Cosmo engine, a new FD rear plate, and necessary gaskets, still come out to be cheaper than a used FD engine. What worries me is the intake port size/plcement... ah well.

The FD (13B-REW) plates can be ported to the same size as the 13B-RE but it's a whole lot of work. Trust me I've done it!
On my FC I only had to fab one mount. I drilled and tapped the the bottom of the RE block to accept the factory passenger's side FC mount. On the driver's side I also used the factory FC mount but I added a little extra material so as to be able to use the bolts on the RE's block.
BTW. The process is pretty much the same when using the FD block in the FC chassis.
