perkins turbo off a catapillar?

i have acquired a perkins turbo off a catipillar. i am trying to find the specs on it. its off a 6.6 liter 6 cylinder. the part number is 2674a256. i am trying to find the specs for it. i was thinking ab trying to use it. i think it has a t3 flange on it. how would i get the a/r for the turbo? can i measure anything on it?

measure the diameter (inducer and exducer, look those up if you don't know what they are) of both the compressor and turbine wheels

If you can get the engine serial number from the engine it came off of, I might be able to help. I work at a Peterbilt dealership but we are also a CAT dealer. That part number didn't go anywhere on my CAT dealer site. So I can look it up by ESN and then get all the specs of anything about that engine and it's components.

what is the inducer (smaller inner measurement) of each wheel? How many blades does the compressor wheel have, and what is the diameter of the intake?

it has 7 big fins and then small ones inbetween them. i just dont know where to measure the inducer at. and the diameter of the intake is 3 1/2 inches.

that would be like 2" x 2.25" the closet I have on any of my charts is a T3 super 60 wheel but it actually measures as 1.9" x 2.367" or 48.26mm x 60.1218mm which is nowhere close to what you measured. regardless its a dinky wheel for a rotary engine and likely will not even remotely close to wht you need..

are you measureing the turbine side or the compressor side? tose measurements line up closely with some of the available hotside wheels. for instance the GT 2835 turbine wheel is close at 2.02" x 2.204" or 51.3 mm x 56mm

give it a shot man, that's all i can say. the compressor wheel seems a bit undersized compared to the compressor housing but it will flow more than stock.
