besides the other things like fueling etc just the turbo what would i need
so far i have this

You will need:
Block off plates
Fuel!- bigger injectors, pump
Intercooler kit
Boost controller
ECU (Power FC) & any tuning stuff you may want (WB, Dataloger)
Boost Gauge
Oil Catch can
Vacuum hose
And a lot of other stuff that some will say you need and others will say you can do without:
Ignition (HKS twin power)
Bigger Radiator
Allum AST
Better Clutch
Motormounts
BOV
Water/Alc injection
Full 3" exhaust
Battery relocation
Pulley kit (remove air pump)
Diff brace

cool thanks i have most of them done already as i have done some work on the car but left the twins in. im thinking of going single in the summer and was wondering what i would need in addition
thanks again however i already knew most of that what i was looking for is what are all the bits in a turbo kit like the ones you would buy off websites.
eg
downpipe
turbo
manifold
wastegate
filter
oil lines
etc
just want to know what sortta oil lines and fittings would be necessary to fit a single turbo kit
basically whats all the bits in a kit like this as i more than likely will be buying second hand parts bit by bit as i cant afford new ones right now

Well the kits mainly come with the big parts you mentioned and all of the fittings and bolts. The fittings and bolts depend on witch turbo you have. You linked to a T78 kit. Off the top of my head you will be missing:
Oil drain flange- that attaches to the turbo and gasket (t3/t4 I think)
Oil drain hose- that attaches to that line(slip on or -10an)
Oil drain tube connector- that attaches to the front tt drain port(again slip on or -10 an)
Oil feed line- you can make one- some AN ss line a banjo adapter fitting to go to the turbo and a adapter that fits the stock feed size
Wastegate dump tube- can be made with a popper wastegate flange and a peice of 2" pipe
Gaskets- for turbo T4, wastgate to manifold, and downpipe.
Turbo outlet pipe- the greddy one is a hard pipe(goes from the turbo to the IC), so find one of those or get a silicone one.
Heat shields- the kit has a metal plate, but i would get exhaust and trubo wrap.
Pulley kit- the one that replaces the water pump and alternator pulleys and removes the air pump(so the turbo fits).
Vacuum line- 4mm 6mm maybe some 8mm
Zip ties
Metric bolts/nuts
Some turbos have hoses and fittings for water cooling. The T78 does not(oil only).
I think this is what the kit gives you. You can piece all of it together, but I don't think a single site will have it all. atpturbo.com has some. Do you have a specific turbo in mind? Because that will dictate what specific parts you will get.

You, like all of us, are focusing on the major parts, turbo, porting, manifold, fuel, wastegate, BOV, etc.
What i didnt realize until after i started the build was all the nickel and dime stuff, and that will kill you for TIME and MONEY. Im talking about things like hose clamps, couplers, vacuum fittings, braided lines, o-rings, gaskets, polishing, belts, pulleys, and nuts and bolts. Things you dont even think about until its midnight and all the parts stores are closed. You wont be able to realize it all either until you get to the install. So I reccomend you add AT LEAST another $500-1000 saved in a bank for all the little things which i promise will come up.
Guys help me out here, am I wrong??

cool guys exactly what im looking for
not too sure on what turbo im looking to get. looking to get something that will deliver 400whp on standard drivetrain.
as for the little things i know it all too well. i did alot of work on the engine recently and it was all the small gaskets and o-rings that bumped the price up big time.
as i said ill more than likely be piecing the kit all together bit by bit so no real worries about budget it just may take me longer to piece it together.
ive already removed the air pump as rotaries here dont get tested for emissions so no need for the air pump. ive also removed the a/c as its never really hot enough for it too.
thanks for the advice guys much appreciated
