Oil Seal???????????

I was wondering, I just put a used 62-1 on my car an I think the rear oil seal went from me pushing too much oil pressure to it.... Can that be done????? I am useing a -6 feed line and a -10 return.

Thanks,
Matt

p.s. Anybody know any good turbo (cheap) rebuilders , I am in AZ.

-6 without a restrictor is too big , you will get oil leaking out the exhaust side.

I put a restrictor in the line a .064. And it is still blowing smoke and leaking oil out the exhasut side. Could I have blown the seal when I first started the car up??

Thanks,
Matt

The seal may have been bad before you even installed it , I have never heard of a turbos oil seal failing due to too much oil pressure , it would just leak . I have been experiencing something similar and had mine checked out , the seal had actually worn out.
