VA My PFSupercars build

Just seeing if you guys like my new custom build from Ray Wilson. He has never done a build like this before, and it turned out very well. I've never been happier.
We expect big numbers from this build.

Engine has a Full Bridgeport, dowel pinned, 2pc eshaft, rotors clearanced and balanced, 2mm seals, new housings, new rotors, and some other stuff I forgot.

Just has a minor tune until I'm done breaking in motor. I'm running a 15lb wastegate spring, we're hoping around 530 on pump with methanol.

Congrats! When you say a build like this has not been done before, what exactly do you mean? The reason I ask is because it looks a lot like Ernie's build...

What intercooler core was that?

Anthony

I'd definitely think about getting some heat sleeving for that heater hose, the one that runs alongside the dp and underneath the compressor housing. Summit has Thermo-tec thermosleeving that's supposed to be good to 2000 degrees, in the 5/8th to 1 inch size it slides right over with no problems.

Thanks for makin things easier anthony haha it took forever to upload those pics cause I don't know how to just put them in thread like that. But if you look at the intercooler setup and radiator setup, you can see that the FMIC is in the engine bay instead of directly in the bumper area cause the intercooler is pretty big. It's a 4inch core. Ray said he never did a intercooler/radiator setup like this before. I wasn't stealing his setup or anything I guess we had similar plans power wise. After the motor is broken in i'm goin 42R. But yea goodfella, I was going to have everything wrapped and get a filter for the turbo shortly, just ran out of money after this build =\

No problem. Did you buy that intercooler yourself? Do you know what intercooler core that is? It looks like one of those universal ones that I see a lot. If it is I am curious to see how much power they handle without issues. It kinda looks like this one...

Yeah, I believe thats the one. I had it sitting around a while. But Ray said it'll handle my power goals which are around 700-750 so thats what matters haha.

Anthony, I noticed the same thing with that intercooler. What makes it stick out is the mounting bungs that they put on it.

rotorsownu do you remember the seller you got it from?

When are you getting numbers? Car looks really nice! I'm normally not a fan of the C-West side skirts but the front fenders accent them...

nice setup. i've been a fan of Ray's work for several months now. i'm sure making power won't be an issue given some of the cars he's built. i have 2 questions. first, i'm just curious which apex seals went into your motor. and second, what coating is that on your upper intake?

enjoy your car.

Goodfella, I have to run a 2nd wastegate to get rid of boost spike. Marcel, i'm only running this turbo for a little while get used to 550, then i'm gonna switch to a 42R, and thats when i'll be runnin 700-750. Fishey, it's a Garret T04R, with a 1.15 a/r. I purchased this kit from cheapturbo.com aka peakboost. It's a very nice peice.

I went with stock 2mm, thats what Ray prefers. I just took my UIM to a shop nearby to have it painted to look new, not sure what kinda paint.

Can you take a picture of your end tanks and measure the CORE length of your intercooler? Any new news?
