When your making that kind of power, yes other things are needed to be done, but the e-shaft is necessary to help with engine flex. Only speaking from experience though.

the 78mm inducer I believe, (may be wrong) I was gonna go with the 42R but it's not as reliable as the borg warner, plus it makes a nice high pitch whissel and it's slightly bigger.

In the burnout box...

I'm not sure if a Borg Warner could be more reliable than a 42r simply as all the Borg Warners are oil lubricated/cooled. The 42r is oil lubricated and water cooled. Water cooled turbos typically last longer than a oil dependent turbo. I'm probably wrong though...
Big Ern, can you elaborate on what Ray does for his "race clearancing?" I'm not asking for specs but just the basics...

we are starting to switch everything over to borg warner on all our hondas.. and if you go to the track you will see a lot of them making the change as well
we use a lot of GT35r and GT40r turbos and i'll be honest i'm very un happy with the reliability of them. granted we're pushing them all in the 30psi range quite frequently but we have some that with less than 1000 miles are blowing oil out the compressor side. we keep adding crank case ventilation and it helps a tiny bit but we do not get this issue with the good ol' Borgs

I shouldn't have a problem hitting a little over 700, thats my goal. Plus it's not like i'm gonna run 35psi daily or anything, only when someone wants an *** whooping =D
