Talking my h/b port gt42r FINALLY getting somewhere. (pics)

here are pics of my fd project that ive been trying to get together for well over a year now! here is the engine being assembled on sunday by me and a friend. the setup is going to be a h/b port, ported by bdc. brand new rotor housings, all new bearings, dynamically balanced, 3mm seals etc etc... its also going to be running a gt42r, hot side 115 A/R. ill keep pics updated during the build.

sounds like it's going to be a pretty hot little setup there, but the pics are too small. what are you doing for fuel support?

i run 1/2" aluminum hard lines... or -8an split to two -6an at the rails would suffice.

Hey Chris, right on! Glad to see it beginning to come together. Let me know when you need a base map to get it started.

Just remember, if you don't top 800+ hp, there are going to be some people that say that bridge was a waste of time over a streetport!

Nah, I would say anything below ~600rwh hp is a waste.

fd rotar tt: good luck with the project and hopefully you'll meet your hp goals with no issues.

well, he chose the direction he wanted to take. he didn't come in to start a ****-fight and then act like a tool "to play devil's advocate" with no apparent future goal. he's doing his thing and for that i commend him - no matter how much power he makes.

good luck, FD ROTAR TT! can't wait to see your finished product.

thanks for advice guys, i apreciate it. B thanks again i really enjoy your work, ill deffinatly let you know when i need a map for the initial start. um yea thanks again for your guys comments, im deffinatly not going to be throwing out power numbers to you guys because i feel that power depends all on the tune and tuner mostly. and you cant make any guarantee's until its done right?

diabolical thats exactly how i feel, i chose what i felt would be good and im going to stick with it. thanks guys!

I'm with you 100% and obviously also respect his decision.
With a GT42 hanging off that 13B he definitely has a goal :-) ....and I'm sure he will do well in the hp department.

Again, good luck.

man with your setup i wouldn't do that. you need volume so atleast run a -8an from the tank. then you can Y it off in 2x -6an thru the rails and a -6an return. don't chance anything on the fuel side

question: do you have any info on your GZM LIM? i'd just like to compare it to the one A-Spec has and the GZM website seems to either be incomplete or not working.
