MSD 6a...whoa.. searched... now I'm more lost

Okay, was going to buy an MSD 6A for my otherwise stock ignition (single turbo and all supporting mods... except ignition). I read that some people use 3 boxes, various coils, and other random parts.

I ran only one box on my Non-seq. setup about a year ago, just curious what I should do with this install? Car is a 94.

What do I need to buy?\\

THanks

Put the MSD 6A on your coil running the leading plugs.

I put an MSD 6A on all three coils to play it safe.

I think you get 95% of the benefit with just using one.

<stupid> I know the the MSD box can light up to 8 combustion chambers(through distributor), but why do you need more than one? </stupid>

FD has three coils, one handles both leading plugs. The other two coils handle the trailing plugs.

One MSD 6A can be amplifying the coil the sparks the two leading plugs.

The othe two coils handle the two trailing plugs.
If yo want those amplified too you need two more MSD 6As.

You divide the output doing it this way in waste spark mode (one box per both leading plugs). I run a twin set up on my car for the leading plugs with specific CDI coils for maximum ignition energy.
