I got that manifold on my 13B-RE, you can buy it at: http://www.obxracingsports.com/ for $600.

But you can get i much cheaper on Ebay!

I got a quote direct from SSAutoChrome (same seller on Ebay) for $220 I think. If he ever puts one back on Ebay, the opening bid is usually $175 w/ a buy it now for $275. Same guy has bought one though for the last few times (seems kinda strange to me, but hey, he might have several cars) -- and outbid me over $200.

Yeah, he hasn't had them up for a bit. If you can't wait, just go to http://www.ssautochrome.com and email them. You won't see them on the website either, but he does have them.

Also, the ports should be the same on all 13b engines I think. As far as I know the only issue is fitment w/ your turbo size. So you may have to get a spacer to fit everything. But all-in-all it should physically fit on the engine no prob.

By the way, looks like UPS says mine is out for delivery, so I should have it by the time I get home from work. If so, I'll come back here and post first impressions and you all can be jealous!

it took a day or two to get one back from him. By the way, sat and admired mine for awhile last night. But didn't have time to put up the pics. Actually the ones on ebay are great pics so, not much different other than I was curious about the wastegate end -- I might post that pic if I get time tonight. Now I just need to find a few gaskets and I'll be in business!

obx manifolds don't fit on FC, if you do a search here or on the other fourm their was a guy who bought it for his FD i believe and then test fit on his 13BT, and it didn't fit.

the obx manifold will fit if you cut off part of the flang
the bottom front flang.

I have seen them on 2 fc and that is how they put them on

Unless you can find someone who has done it, this will likely be something you just have to experiment w/. If you want me to give you some measurements off of the manifold I can, but will be hard to model/imagine in 3D. I can tell you that on mine, w/o a spacer, the turbo hits the UIM -- but not by much... I ordered an RB flange to use as my spacer, it hasn't arrived yet, but should be more than enough for the RE w/ a To4e. Probably could get a smaller flange -- Wankleguy did his w/ a 5mm spacer IIRC. I think the turbo is the deciding factor though... other than that, the manifold should bolt right on w/ maybe very minor massaging that 87GTR mentioned.

I need to test fit mine now that I have the bolts to attach the turbo -- but I think it will only take very minor grinding on the front bottom flange to fit on the motor. I just stuck it on there quickly, but it seems like it was just contacting one of the long bolts that runs the length of the block. Honestly, if I used a bolt instead of a stud to attach the manifold to the block, I think it would fit w/o modification, but I'd have to test for sure. Don't take my word for it.

If I went that route, it might be easier to remove / install the manifold w/ the engine still in the car -- if the need ever arose.

That`s right Trav, I did mine with a 5mm spacer.

Here is a picture of the manifold on a 13B-RE.

Groovy... btw, I slapped mine together for fitment yesterday. Using an RB header flange, the fit is fantastic w/ the To4e. I was very happy. Aside from me grinding a bit off the wrong flange on the exh. manifold.

I did end up grinding the front bottom flange ever so slightly and it fit past the bolt great. I know, I owe you all some pictures... tough. I've been working on the car too much.

yeah that is what I saw also. had to grind the bottom of the flange a little.

wankle man why did you use a 5mil spacer? was the turbo hitting the lower intake or frame rail?

Yes, the turbo hit the lower intake manifold, but not by much...a 5mm spacer was enough.

Like I said in another post, my car is not up and running yet so I can not tell you much about that. The manifold looks great, and for that price its unbeatable!

You cant beat them for the price. I bought a few of them.

I compared it to another similar manifold but the material is thinner with the OBX manifold. You can feel the weight difference.

Its well worth the money though.

what exhaust housing do you have on your turbo? i bought a garrett from a local dealer and i believe it is a to4E with a 1.15 divided. right now, it is at precision getting a 60-1 wheel and new comp housing. i was going to either get a spacer or have a local guy fab a new manifold similar and then sell my OBX. whatdo you think?

oh yeah, i've got a '94 FD

The to4e divided will be a perfect fit. That's what I have on mine right now. Can't tell you if you'll need a spacer or not for the FD. My understanding is that the LIM is tighter to the block on the FDs, but can't comment for sure. I do know that I w/o a doubt had to have a spacer for my to4e w/ this exh. mani.

Have any of you that have bought this manifold found that the bolt holes for the wategate are off? The only two I have seen have both had a couple of holes slightly off. One even required opening the holes for the exhaust studs to come through because they were crooked as well.
They are very nice looking and the price is great but so far the bolts holes have been a big pisser
