Hey does anyone here have one of these running in there car? Or what do you think about this, is this a good turbo? They say its comparable to a HKS to4z

there are a lot of FC users putting down a lot of power with them. I have one buy my engine isnt broken in yet to give my perspective. they can usually be had on ebay for a good price.

 

But do u think its a respectable turbo?

1700$ gives you a lot of choices for a turbo. What kind of power do you plan to put out?

 

i wanna be putting out 450 plus hp easy. Gonna get all the other mods needed to surport and stuff too

 

lol masterpower usually goes for about 550 or so on ebay. I have one but don't have the car running yet. If you do some searches you will find it's a very respectable turbo without the price tag. Now that 1650 is just a crazy price for that turbo though.

edit: your in new zealand so you should talk to a guy on the forums named boby beach. He is from there and is a dealer of master power turbos.

I think that Slammdblk7 or something like that was running one at one point or still is. He made really good power on it.

 

yeah well i dont see why you wouldnt make good power on it eh? its a good turbo plus good size, im just deciding what turbo im gonna go for, i dont really wanna pay 2500 to 3000 for a garret t04z when i can get the same results with this turbo. I just need to sell my series 2 first before i can get some cash haha.

I ran this turbo for about two years, no problems. I dyno'd 480rwhp around 19-20psi. I moved up to the GT45 in 06

 

yeah im pretty keen on getting on aye,.

 

u might as well go with something that is proven cause if its questionable then i wouldnt get it
