Pressure source for external wastegate?

Pressure source for external wastegate?
I'm trying to find the best pressure source for my Tial external wastegate. Form reading around some people like to come off the manifold to get the actual boost seen by the motor. Some say just to come from the compressor cover on the turbo. Tial's diagram shows the source before the throttle body, some people say after the throttle body is ok?
This is what I had planned to do along with a Greddy B Spec II.
1. From the manifold to the lower nipple of the wastegate.
2. Nipple on compressor cover to NC on boost controller solenoid.
3. Solenoid COM port to the top wastegate nipple.
Does it sound like a decent plan or should I change it up a little? What has worked for you?

I run it from the brake booster nipple on the manifold of my TII engine. seams to work fine.
Im running a XS 50mm wastegate (HKS clone) and a reworked SSautocrap manifold.
From what I have learned, manifold will give you less lag, turbine outlet will give better responce and less spike/overboosting.

I just run one of these http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/me...tegory_Code=BC for my wastegate signal off the first coupler attached to the turbo. I was running an in cabin manual last year, but am changing to an AEM tru-boost over the winter along with other stuff.
I prefer to run it as close to the turbo as possible since I want the wastegate to know before most other things what the boost pressure is.
How can one location give less lag, and another give better response? Seems contradictory.
I really think either location will *work* but I feel going as close to the turbo as possible will give the most stable boost control since the wastegate is seeing the changes as they happen at the turbo as opposed to post pressure drop through the I/C etc.

I ended up running it like this

Works perfectly!! With the controller turned off it only runs the spring pressure and with the controller on it is very easy to tune for my desired boost pressure.
