Manifold

Does anyone make a Inconel Header that is clean? I mean something that is equal length and has good flow to the wastgate area. Or a good stainless steel header that makes power, not like all the cast iron crap out there these days.

Okay, does anyone know where I can see all the japanese headers online for a FD? I think I liked the FEED one but maybe I was wrong.

I'm gonna have one in about a month or so that will be a mix between the FEED and the GREDDY manifold. It will be mild steel with Tig welds. It will be of very high quality....it's made by the same Co. that makes all the really nice Jap. manifolds. Like I said though ....not for another month or so. If you can wait it will be worth it I'm sure. The price will be very good as well.....just waiting on shipping so we can set the price.

You do know that it will crack. I don't know what experience you have with mild steel headers or stainless but over time both will crack. that is why I am asking for Inconel.

I'm sorry.....what the hell is Inconel? I've never heard of it before......and it won't crack? Wow! I'll take some! Let me know when you do find it and some info if you could......I'm always down to learn something

you can look it up on the net for basics but from my experience it is bad ***. It is what they use to make the exhaust wheels in the turbos out of and other turbine blades. They also make exhaust valves out of this.

The SFP manifold is not divided. And even if it is, you can expect to wait longer than you would with M2.

I've seen SFP manifold's for mitsubishi's and didn't like the quality whatsoever(welds looked like ***). I haven't seen any mazda one's but from what i saw with the mitsu stuff, i will never buy one of those manifolds...

You could try asking crispeed about a manifold.

So, I guess no one has a good manifold. Maybe I will just make one. Just hate doing it.

Like I said before.....we will have a manifold soon. It will be one of the best manifolds that you have ever seen.....trust me. The quality will be very very good! We have an add in Turbo mag. in the back and will have quite a few cars coming out in magazines in the near future. We're doing a manifold for Angela Proudfoot right now. My car will be done soon as well.....and will be in a mag. real soon.

We might have a divided manifold built for the 7 as well. We have stainless downpipes and midpipes coming and quite possibly will have Titanium downpipes and midpipes in the near future.

Maximum Performance is the Co. name if you look in the mag.

manifold

Try SR motorsports. I was picking up some stuff from Ray awhile back and he had this stainless manifold hanging around his shop. It was really nice, smooth A+ tig welds, divided flang, and good wastegate position. I asked him if he welded it himself and he said no that a local fabricater had done it for him. Ray also sells tial wastegates so you can easily make with a tial flange.Inconel is not that much more than 304 and 321 its not that exotic. My experience with Ray I can only discribe as a little wierd at times and as far as M2 forget about it youll be waiting for years and every time you call theyll say it will be in on friday. spd in sacramento does sell flanges,tubing and stuff.

Thanks for the info, I have done business with burns before. I just want to take the easy way out and find someone that makes one already and I can just pick it up or just order it.
