i got my holset hx52

well it finally got here, holset hx52, going on my 1990 turbo with a mild street port, 1600cc injectors in all 4 corners, e85 fuel, haltech e6k, hks cast manifold, 44mm wastegate, hks exhaust, not sure what size intercooler piping i want to use yet. hoping for some good numbers from this piece, cant go to big because the motor wasnt doweled when we rebuilt it. i will post pics when the car comes apart and then after tearbo has his way with it.

you have to modify the bolt holes but it will work with a t4 flange, i got it for 500, the comp wheel is 67mm, the exhaust wheel is 70mm, and the housing is a 16cm^2.

no s5 motor, i had already street ported and rebuilt a s4 so i just dropped it in, i wish mine was bridgeport, as far as boost goes, i will go as much as i can until i feel that the motor is going to take it. probably around 420 or so horse power.

Nice turbo! I'll be getting an H1E with 22cm housing. I'll be using a Shook Motorsports manifold and DP so spool won't be too bad.

Good luck with your setup!

Holset has their new HSS-Pro70. Its a T4 flanged unit with HSS-70mm wheel and 82mm turbine wheel. Sucker rocked on a 2JZ a local fellow built. Came on boost early and made some big numbers.

That is always the case. Holset now has their new HSS (Holset Super Series) line of units slowly releasing.

Looking good what oil pressure are you running before turbo and what size restrictor into the turbo? How does it pull? I just drove mine for the first time today just got it where i can go around the street and start playing I still have lots of tuning to do. Looking good though.

i just used the stock oil line, hacked it in the middle and had my friends at a hydraulic shop join the two pieces at the length i needed. no restrictor, just the stock oil line size.

That is really laggy for a 67mm wheel.

Are you sure you don't have any exhaust leaks before the turbo or any boost leaks?

Have you checked compression on the engine?
