When I pulled my diff I noticed this slight problem.

Yup, been there, done that. I now have a badass cryo-treated PPF.

Matt, I was selling a stout 1/4" steel reinforced PPF a couple of months ago. I'm sure you can have a local welder duplicate the process.

Just reinforce it like I did and cut back on the wheel hop.

It's funny people say it's not much stronger, yet I've never heard of a Mazdaspeed one ever breaking. I'd rather start off with and modify it if needed.

I've heard of one breaking, although it was on a full blown drag car with 600+ rwhp.
