Help...how much Psi should I run on my setup?
Well guys.....I need your assistance. I'm not sure how much psi I should run on my FD with my current Single Turbo setup. This is what I have:
Pettit racing 13B Street Port With 3MM Apex Seals
Stock fuel injectors
MasterPower T04 Turbo
3" downpine and catback
external wastegate
walbro fuel pump
apexi super afc
rod millen ecu
FMIC
I currently drive it at 12psi but I'm not sure how much more psi is safe, like for example when someone wants to street challenge me?
thanks for your help

You need a real ECU. (PFC, Haltech, Microtec) Plus with stock injectors you are already driving a time bomb.
Buy a PFC some 1300ccs/1680's and a fuel pressure regulator, then you can add the boost with a proper tune.

Boost-wise, keep it right there if you're planning on running pump gas. I won't get into it here, but basically that's a safe level for whipping around.

ecu and injectors
thanks everyone for your replies. From what I could see, I definitely need to change the ECU and injectors which I'm going to work on right away. The question now would be, which ECU is best recommended and easy to setup for street use.

It depends on you or your tuners. Many of us love our PowerFC's, but others swear by Haltec and Microtec's. All are good options with similar price tags. What it comes down to is can you or someone tune them. As for ease; The PFC is probably the easiest.

i ran the power fc (still using it) with 1300 in the secondary rail on my single set up at 15 psi with no problems. thats the cheap way. if you go higher then 15 psi you need bigger then the 1300's you need a new fuel rail/ regulator and 3 bar map sensor to see more then 15psi

Power FC
yeah....after reading your posts and getting some information online, I'm going for the Power FCs. Specially since its hard to find someone that could tune an ECU correctly down here. Any of you know of someone selling one or a place where I could get it at a good price?
