Ok, not a huge difference but at 1 bar every litle bit helps. Backwards? So I should have the largest compressor wheel and smallest turbo wheel? ...i'm confused again. I want to kick in as close to 2k rpm as possible and keep power (no roll off) as close to 9k rpm as possible.

Your wanting what everyone wants, big power no lag. LOL, I would say run the 1.00 split turbine housing with the RS wheel.

^ lol, hey you have a nicer V-mount. I want a nicer turbo. what's wrong with spinning tires at 15mph?
-------------------------------

ok, is the 1.12 wheel "too" big? Is that sacrificing low end?

Do I need to change the turbo (exhaust/hot side) wheel as well (smaller)?

I have the T4 devided (custom shorty) on order allready. Waiting for V-band something.

I think you keep getting confused the the 1.12 is the large turbine housing size. The turbine wheel stays the same.

A couple weeks ago i read mostall of the pages in this thread and i checked the A spec site and still couldnt find the price on the turbo alone. How much does this turbo sell for alone? Also i have done a lot of searching and of course this is prety much the only thread on the t4 35r, how is the efficiency of the 35r at higher boost levels such as 19-25? I have seen a ton of numbers posted of people running on the t3 housings and boosing around 15 psi and making 400-425, can the boost be turned up on the t4 35r to get numbers around the 500 range? Thank in advance.

Thank you very much, that took care of most of my questions, the only one i have left is, does any one have numbers for a gt35t4 at above 20 psi? Basically i just want to know if it could brake 500hp on race gas.

I would take a look at the 35RS if your going for over 21lbs. I have a thread started here, that should answer most questions for you. https://www.rx7club.com/group-buy-center-69/gt35rs-now-available-478348/

Hope that helps.

Thanks, i saw that thread and it asnwered most of my questions. I have a few more, but ill hold off and just call when i have the money in hand, probably a month or two away. Basically i just want something that can run around 420-450 at just over 15lbs on the street all the time, and then run race fuel and get over 500. You guys are a wealth of knowledge thanks again.

Got my FC3S GT35R...

I just received my FC3S GT35R kit. This thing rocks. Here is a pic, let me know what you think. I don't have the engine in the car just yet, but do have pics of the turbo mounted to the engine. It's the T4 flange setup. Sean did an awesome job on this manifold. Real work of art....Thanks again A-Spec it was worth the wait...

Mazdarick, you might want to put a beefier clutch on that while it is out. I would be very suprised if the CF clutch will hold the power. The set up looks good. Carl

Bummer that sucks

Really, I was told that the centerforce would hold up to 500 FT LBS of torque is this not accurate? I really hope it can take it. Have you had previous experience with the CF Clutches? This one hasn't even been used yet and was purchased just for this project. If anyone wants to see more pics of this, you can go to www.evo-imports.com and click the photo gallery. Then go to the members rides section and look at the section on the gt35r setup. Thanks for the info.

Sean, what's up with your website? I've been trying to get in there to look around and where it says "click here to launch site" keeps popping up evertime I go in keeping me from checking your products.

No I don't have a pop-up blocker. It's just that everythime I click on the "launch website" It will let me in for about a second and then boom! right back to the previous screen. I've been in there before so I don't think it's me or my computer. But then again I may be wrong.

FWIW, that is likely ~325TQ max, and a little past the limit of the CF in my own experience. I am road racing with an ACT 6 Puck, and a Extreme Pressure plate. I am putting around 400 ftlbs to the wheels, I have about 35 20 minute sessions on the clutch, plus dyno time, so far so good. I really am pretty easy on the clutch though. I understand that the 6 puck/X PP clutch may not be up to repeated drag racing at that amount of TQ, it is right on the edge of its rated 530FWTQ. That saisd there is a XX PP. I like ACT because it does what it claims. If anyone needs ACT info, LMK. Carl
