flooding problem

i bought this 87 t2 not too long ago starts every time when its cold let it warm up and it floods every time . If you pull the egi fuse and clean it out it will start but sometimes not the first try i had kgpart clean my 550 primaries and i put it back together today still same **** the kid i got it off of put 680s in the secondaries with a stock ecu what is acceptable compression for a s4 turbo hoping that i didnt by this with low compression but it runs like hell so i cant see it being low but that would be my luck please help

it just sound like common hot start. if you search this in the second gen specific you will find all kinds of things on flooding or hot start.

you can install a fuel cut switch as a bandaid to fix this instead of pulling the egi fuse.

the 680 secondaries may cause a richer fuel mixture than stock but you really need to get some fuel control(at least a piggy back like a safc)

compression wise ive read that 90 psi and up is good and anything less than that is on its way out. there are alot of different opinions on this though. i recommend reading the faq in the second gen specific.

also if you search for rotary resurrections web site(you can search on yahoo for it) and he has alot of helpful information on his site.
