Dual EGT probes and water injection have been installed.

I had the bungs installed today for my pineapple dual EGT gauge, Local friend hooked me up!

How many other people are running this?

And my water injection nozzle.......We have a washer holding it in, sealing it is a rubber grommet, and some rtv on the threads/on the grommet. Anybody have experience/feedback on their similar install?

Questions/comments?

I'm running the pineapple dual EGT as well. Great unit, mine are simply tapped into my greddy log mani. though.

My AI is snowperformance so the nozzles need to be tapped into place also. Its in my higgi TB elbow, so I can't offer any advice on sealing that nozzle in there. Is that an alkycontrol kit?

I think that's a very good idea. I almost did this on my manifold but I couldn't come to purchasing a $400+ gauge.

I have the water injection and the bungs all welded into the mani and dp for the EGT but I haven't decided which way to go for the EGT yet. I think I am not going to do a gauge and instead do probes that go to a 0-5v translation board and then to my dataloggit. This way I can log them as auxillary inputs next to AFR, boost pressure and RPM.

At least that is my idea...we will see how it plays out.

Check with some aircraft parts suppliers, there's plenty of dual EGT gauges that are easy on the wallet. And IIRC the pineapple one is just a modified gauge ( F and R as opposed to L and R on the gauge) and regular probes.

I will be running two 3/16 exposed tip thermocouples
http://redlinegauges.com/product_inf...8210c2fe57840e
Datalogging with these to my datalogit
http://www.o2simulator.com/index.php...5fa12c2f9642d5
Total cost is around 200 for the everything as long as you have a way of datalogging. I am not a gauge guy as you should be keeping your eyes on the road instead of on your gauges while making runs. Of course I road tune rather than dyno tune. I did have one probe after the turbine and it reacted basically instantaniously but this new setup should allow me to better balance the rotors fuel.

That Pineapple gauge is a Westach Aircraft Spruce gauge. I wonder if it's been marked up.

Wasn't a typo and I wasn't referring to that cheap gauge, either.

http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pro...asp?RecId=4861 There's your Pineapple gauge, more or less. Notice the price difference.

http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/gro...oupID=GAUGEEGT This was the $400+ setup I was referring to.

are you sure, he said he's leaving tomorrow...

dont worry about the gauge... the ones from that website arent that good a deal. you still have to buy the thermocouples, they are like 70-80ish each.. so really you only overpaid by 50 max...
