Done with single.. high idle

Ok, I just got done with my single project and started the car up. One thing I noticed immediatly is that my idle is now very high (1800). I checked my throttle adjusters and they are set correctly (lowest point). I also checked my vac and its steady within specs. I have a 95 so I dont have a paper gasket on the lim. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Your vac may be steady, but that doesn't mean you don't have a vacuum leak somewhere. I'd start digging around all the vac lines etc. to see if you can find any leaks.

Probably vac leak, though I had this problem when I went single and it was something else. I did the TB coolant bypass and forgot to disable the fast idle cam (which is activated by coolant normally).

how do you disable the fast idle cam? I also did the bypass and am pretty sure I overlooked that.

might want to check the lim/uim nuts and bolts and see if is tighten good. Reason say i had the same problem and it turned out that the middle gasket from the lim/uim was leaking air. So i tightend all the nuts and bolts and walla it worked...

I forget exactly, but it seemed like the lowest I could get the car to idle was in the 1500 rpm neighborhood. Once you fiddle with the cam it'll be obvious, I think.
