85 gs not holding idle all of a sudden

85 gs not holding idle all of a sudden

85 gs with full emissions delete. 48 dellorto dhla sidedraft. the car runs fine but all of a sudden it wouldnt hold an idle. no sputters or anything just idles all the way to zero and dead as smooth as possible. if i hold the accelerator it stays on fine but as soon as i let it go itll just die. sometimes itll stay on and idle fine as normal but sometimes itll randomly die like i described. any help is appreciated

When was the last time you checked the carb adjustment? I would check the mixture and idle speed settings. If that doesn't help, check for vacuum leaks and then I would look into cleaning the float bowls and making sure the jets are clear.
