I purchaced a car at a auction and this turbo was in the rear hatch area. How can i tell what it goes on? gonna try and sell it..

 

Doesn't look like a cummins turbo to me at all.

 

Well on the ID plate is cummins turbo.. part # is 3032075 and stamped on intake is 3000164

 

looks like something off of a semi truck. We just usually throw them away if they are of no use to us.

HT3B, big reverse rotation 73mm turbo. Lags like crazy, and typically they have a huge A/R. Also the turbine wheel is VERY old design and not efficient at all. Turbo is a huge paper weight..lol. If you are getting rid of it let us know. We use alot of scrap parts for some applications for big diesels.
