Oh, and it's not like Miami has a shortage of fast cars either...

i think u are mistaken. u dont see 9 sec cars on the road. can he be beat....of course. to think otherwise is pretty ignorant. but the probability is pretty low and therefore warrants the license plate.

Care to back up your unsubstantiated claim with any kind of logic rather than quick jabs that don't prove anything? Nah, you'd probably rather just nut swing.

I know the car isn't setup for the track/dig, so let's just say he wants a roll race. I could call up 3-4 cars off the top of my head that live in the Tampa Bay area that are still street cars that would tear this FD a new one. Believe it or not...

Just because you typed a few words more than me, doesnt mean squat, you havnt provided anymore concrete detail than i have... I'm not here to argue *MY OPINION* with yours... Nothing has been proven so it doesnt matter what you say or think will beat this car. so please refrain from arguing that you know a SO and SO car can beat SO and SO car.

Fortunately (I hope) we can all agree that there are very few people that can drive an 475whp fd the way its supposed to be on a track. We don't know who was driving that rx7 or the viper either. On the other hand the viper was built for about that much horsepower (500hp) from factory, so controlling the car i imagine would be quite easier and more tame to drive for any average joe...

not sure what we are arguing here to be honest. this fd is one amazingly fast car. is there some one quicker....sure.

Dollar for dollar, this car or other fd's like it are hard to beat.

The ability to beat 99.9% of V8's and V10's out there warrants the license plate imho, perhaps even a bit of cockiness.

All the v8 converts out there get their pistons ruffled so easily.

Nice edit. "esp. ones without wrenches."

You can get in line for your "beat down" if you wish since you're local.

I took it back, thought it was a little mean. But maybe I shouldnt have. Your old motor didnt seem to hover in the air yesterday, infact it was a pretty nice little engine, and everything unbolted nicely. You can bench race with me all you want, I am not even waiting in line for a someone to "beat down" on me. But hey, sure, I'll have some fun running around with you, what do I have to loose? My car is a non-turbo, non-nitrous engine that is less than half your "new" engines size. If I were to win, it would just be salt in the wounds. Tell you what, why dont you get in line for a "beat down" at sebring if you wish. Hope the V8 dosent hurt itself. Cocky *** kid.

Ah, so you work at Mazsport. Hence, the bitterness, I suppose. Scott has been a pretty good sport about all this. Too bad you can't do the same. I'm gonna stop now before I say something I'll regret.

Just so you know, I'm gonna have a good amount of my own sweat into this project. Just because I was able to afford to have Scott do everything to my car in the past, doesn't mean I'm incapable of doing something with it in the future.

That was what I was thinking, hence the edit. I am a good sport, just caught on a wrong day maybe? Anyway, along with the subject at hand!

I'm game. The project is moving, slowly but surely. It'll probably be on the road somewhere near the end of September so long as we don't hit any major speed bumps.

Haha, didnt mean for it to go that way, but oh well. I am not one to go around looking for races, but this would be interesting race, I have to admit. So sure I am game too.
