I think you are having boost controller problems you should be able to boost over 22psi on a 15 pound spring. your solenoid might be messed up. do you have the profec-b?

whats the blow off valve set to? and is there a pop off valve? the bov may be set to 22psi and it's just bleeding off the extra pressure.

If your running the greddy wastegate you have a 8 pound spring if i'm not mistaking that is what came with my kit then you will prolly have to get a bigger spring then that would fix your problem

yep.

The Type R gate they put int the kits *should* have a 8lb spring. You're boost controller is doing an awfully good job considering it should only be able to approximately double the spring pressure of the wastegate.

If its an 8# spring you may need a stiffer one with the profec as they lack the resolution to make much more than double the spring pressure. If its not the spring try taking off the air filter, I have had air filters cause this problem before, especially the foam filters like the HKS and the Greddy.

What color is the spring? Make sure you have the right spring first. Second, on the back of the greddy wastegate, directly in the middle, there should be a threaded screw there, make sure that is in there. Sometimes under boost they loosen and fall out.

I just noticed it says "factory intakes"

How are you using a factory Y pipe with a single? And either way, I'm sure whatever restrictive "factory style" intake is on there isn't helping your boost level either.

+1.

You could also be blowing air out of the intake manifold area somewhere and not know it. I run into that fairly often.

Hey Justin, sounds like you have a leak somewhere in the gate or the lines somewhere, OR the boost controller isn't connected properly, check over the install and I bet that's it's something not connected properly or leaking.

I Would Have Him Check Over The Settings And Such. Thanks
For The "factory Intake" I Ment Factory Intake Manifolds. I Mentioned That Because Someone Said They Might Be To Small. Which I Douted But Figured I Would Mention It.
