Sweet ! so how much did the CJ assembly cost (if you dont mind me asking)? Presently I have my '044 mounted externally , pulling from a sumped OEM tank ,no problems at all .Lately I've been thinking of putting them in tank ........... but now I am not so sure . I've been doing some reading , and I've found that the FD suffers from starvation at low fuel levels when cornering , or something like that , is this true? And the fix for this is an expensive cover sold by another member ?

The CJ kit is $315 on their website. That doesn't include the pickup filters, AN fittings and hose. Someone sent me a PM asking about the install and mentioned they wanted to use braided line instead of the push lock stuff I used in the setup pictured above. The reason I used the Aeromotive hose is because it's some of the only hose that's rated for fully submerged use. I usually use Earl's stuff but they have nothing that's rated for use submerged in fuel. Just something to keep in mind when you assemble the setup.
Charles had mentioned to me they were going to work on a drop in surge tank assembly for the FD that would eliminate the low level pickup problems.

this was pretty much the idea i had, how ever this is extremely over kill. 2 intank pump, and 2 in-surge-tank pumps. Y'd to feed -8 fuel filter.
my idea had this same concept with only 2 pumps and dropped into the main tank.

the a1000 is a peice of junk, if you like keeping your motor together run the dual 044 bosch pumps. they are oem quality and last forever. the a 1000 WILL fail after a year or so if you put any rear miles on your car. also the a1000 dosent like to sit in traffic it will get hot and shorten its life span even more. i've been running dual 044's for 8 years now with not one single fuel related issue.
Did you run a voltage regulator? Without one, the pump's like is dramatically short.

Two different setups.
Two different A1000's (the second was the eliminator).
Two success stories.
Not to discount anyone's advice, opinion, or experience. Just adding some more data points to the pool.

I have the same setup(CJ Motorsports dual Bosch 044's) and made more power then you'll ever need with it. You don't need anything else. There isn't any in tank pump that flows more.

I was wondering if anybody has ever run one 044 in tank with another 044 inline pump at the same time? I know that I have heard of this before but I dont know anybody that has personally done this. Does anyone know of any advantages/dissadvantages of running a setup like this. I am fabbing up a setup with twin044s now but with a stock pump holder and running ito problems getting the fittings to fit.

Daniel, I am running cj's braket and dual 044's y them like i did also I used jay racing check valves to keep from any possible cavataion due to one pump creating back pressure to the other. This is a great setup. Make sure to use at least ten guage wire and two relay wire direct to the battery.
Just what I did and have done many times with great success.

I won't let go
Just a little back up.
I just installed this same setup. I have some wiring to address, but based on what you're saying, Glen, to what are you referring when you say two relay wires?
I've got (at the moment) a 10 gauge from the battery into the relay. 10 gauge relay ground. Obviously the stock power wire into the relay switch and two 14 gauges for the pump power and ground (that's what I have to change out to 10 gauge).
So the only battery/relay connection is that single, main power wire.
