rwhp, or fwhp?

Doesn't matter - post it on a Civic forum. :P

Crispeed - that is ferociously awesome work! Looking forward to hearing more about this car!

Take it easy,
Phil.

I have read your idea towards it.

I thought his 9 sec pass was on the 600hp setup, but I was corrected by a forum member; it was in fact on a sub 600hp setup

With the right tranny, tires and good driver, a 550hp rotary fd will run a 9.7. Any doubters? C'mon, bring it!?!?

500 should be enough to get you into the 9's in a first gen or second gen.. and it has been done before, plenty of times.

THat's correct! But I find a lot of people fixate on just the max hp reading and fail to consider total area under the curves or shape. SOOOOO many people expect a "600 hp" rotary to be faster than a "500hp" one in the 1/4. I make absolutely zero assumptions until I see the graphs.

With plates that say "V8 KilA" I can't imagine it being for the purpose of trying to look stock......LOL.
I have the dual tip once and tried the single tip also.
The dual was so loud on the FD but the big ricey single was so quiet!!!!
I didn't understand the noise difference.....I thought it would be the other way around..
I wondered the same thing. I have a 3.5" all the way to the muffler, which is a single RE-Amemiya 4". If you want your system to create a "vortex" and suck gases out, instead of allowing gases to be pushed through, you have to go single and you have to go from smaller to bigger. Having a 3.5" dp and mid, which then goes to a smaller 3" end (and a dual end on top of that) will not permit a vortex to occur. It may flow adequately, but you would have lower EGTs and SUBSTANTIALLY less back pressure with a system that goes from smaller to larger with a single tip. That translates into longer engine life from reduced opertating temperatures. Aside from look or sound, why would anyone want to take spinning exhaust gasses in a large single pipe and slam them into two smaller pipes at the end of the line?

stickies are already on...but to me, the 1/4 doesnt mean anything? just imagine what it'll feel like when your just cruising around 65-70 and a tt porsche, lambo, or whatever highend comes around and you just look at him and you know it's on. You slap it in 3rd, boost comes on hard, and now your hitting triple digits in 2-3 seconds. You move to 4th and it all over! He's in your rearview now. Let him roll up to you and just take a look on the expression on his face. thats what i'm about. 6 cyl dont concern me. at least none that i know of.

O yes the street is where I came from, and I remember the T/A , VETTS , stangs etc...... but the one that really comes to mind is a camaro w/ 2 nos bottles w/ a 250 shot and i was still n front , and this was on the highway. so yes I know what ya mean.

major props! i love the car and the numbers are very nice, but some of these supra guys that dont get traction in any gear (6speeds) would walk you on the highway. And trust me it pains me to say so because im a huge rotary fan. In fact i think even most of these 20b guys would have trouble with a 1000+whp supra.

I know how to settle this! go supra hunting and post some video!
