I don't think you're going to see a big difference.

You won't be seeing much of a difference at all. Performance and power wise, these turbos are very simular. Your T4 manifold won't work with the GT35/40 unless your getting one of those ATP T4 turbine housings made for the GT 35/40. The standard Garrett GT35/40 uses a T3 flange unless Garratt finaly got off their ***'es and finally make the T4 flanged turbine for them (of which I am unware of yet).

ATP makes a T4 .82 housing it it the exact same housing as the T3 only the footprint is different too small a A/r in my book. You will be fine with what you are doing by the time you are ready to move up I will have a whole mess of new housings for the GT-R series all in rotary friendly A/r's

Difference between a T4 and T3 are..... T4 has a more squared bolt pattern and the port opening is slightly larger were the t3 has a more rectangular bolt pattern with a slightly smaller port opening. If your running a 60-1 I assume its a full T4 and I also assume your A/R value is .96 and you typing .94 was a typo. You'll need a new manifold or get the smallish ATP turbine housing as I and Zero R have suggested.

I would keep the 60-1 you have keep the manifold with the T4 footprint you have. And within a very short time I will have a genuine T4 divided GT35R turbos available in multiple A/rs as well GT42R turbine housings undivided for 3Rotors.

I agree with Zero R sort of....LOL

I would definately keep the 60-1 you have, and later if/when you actually want to upgrade go bigger if you want more power. The 60-1 and gt35/40 are to simular in performance to warrent the extra time, parts, and cost for no real gains for the money.

Damn, does that mean we have to buy new manifolds? :P

Ha! Yeah but for existing customers it will always be at a reduced price.

It's not a T3, but it uses a T3 flange on the exhaust housing.

This is my point exactly. Why go through upgrading everything to get the standard 35R when I can let him keep his manifold and go from there. This is all based on him wanting the 35R over the 60-1.
