Not sure the temp, but it was not hot.
Timing was 12 advance up to peak torque.

Nice numbers.. Im confused though. There is a 3rd gen on the cover of "Modified Magazine" with a t-78 from detroit that put down 586 at 19 psi no nitrous. with only a steetport. Do numbers vary that much from car to car that much? Maybe it was colder here? running more agressive timing? but would that add up too 80 HP on the same car?

Bull$hit, not going to happen with a T78 at that boost, probably wouldn't happen with a T88 at that level.
Nice numbers Jason, as for "raceport" I take it, that's a large pineapple street port?

Thanks
Our Mustang dyno is calibrated for Dynojet numbers. We took 3 cars that had dynojet numbers and calibrated off that.

You can call bull$hit all you want. I really dont think a magazine is gonna lie though. Granted, they didnt have a dyno sheet to prove it.. i dont think. I Thought it was pretty unbelieveable too. check it out if you dont believe me, This months Isssue. Its the cover car.

We all know, that magazines and everything you read are always true!
I believe it even more since there was no sheet to back it up.

Maybe it is estimated flywheel hp. 15% on 506 is pretty close to 586. Magazines really like the bigger #'s.

maybe 586 flywheel horsepower. That sounds about right.
Jason did you make any pulls on pump gas?
So can you feel a noticible difference to your upgraded wheel? Spool time ect..

I ran 16lbs on pump gas and made 458 HP.
The turbo really likes 17+lbs of boost. Spools great. I was going to run 20lbs but was happy with what it got.

Congrats Jason !!! Nice numbers....

Now head to the track and rip some 10 sec passes

Funny.......reading this post and also reading that Modofied Mag article on that 586whp FD @19psi !!!!
It's funny how I spot 'bullshit" so fast...........

586whp @ 19psi, w/ durable 20B rotor housings, assembled w/ ARP studs, Mazda Cosmo fuel pump, a set of larger R1 rotors and superior calipers .........
and finally it runs a 12.8 @ 122mph @ only 9psi....
Oh boy, and it also makes over 420whp @ 9psi to run 122mph !!!!!!
Owner is only fooling himself !!!!!
