Awesome numbers Jason, everybody jealous with their "quick spoolin" turbos. You'd think they were road racing. Hell I can outrun most cars waiting to spool up, lets them think they have a chance.
I only made 418 @ 16 psi, no timing, 65c intake temps. I have alot of work to do....................
Congrats
Mag article is BS

So everyone can compare the two, also we need to get yours up on there as well since it's seems to be a good one as well.

Looking at Jason's graph, it looks like he has almost 300hp by 4500rpm which is about the same as the best run from Toy's GT3540.

I think's Silver Niney Three who's making 300hp at 4500rpm. Correct me if I'm wrong.

okay, im looking at the graph and im confused. is there not any power made before 3400/3500 rpms? was it too low to register? is it becuase this was done in fourth gear and granny shifting through the gears on the dyno netted 3400/3500 rpm's before punching it? i dont really know how to look at the charts and interpret them like the pro's. what i do see is that my 300WHP(give or take) is what jason is making at the NORMAL transition point. that is bad ***. 200WHP by 4200/4300 rpms seems to be bad ***. i wouldnt mind that cause a split second later the chart keeps climbing. question again, what is the difference between the engine that was done for jason by pineapple and the engine done for silver ninety three by pineapple. would the T78 benefit from a HB?(sorry just had to ask, i need to learn some how). im sure it would lose streetablitly. my mind may be made up once jason shows us some MPH's.

I have a question about the boost levels you guys are using. Are these the levels based on gauges or the PFC???

What readings are your getting on the PFC?

Congrads Jason. Nice numbers. Like to see a 10 sec slip out of it. T78 is really a nice turbo setup for a race port in my opinion. Stock port that I'm on, I tend to like the GT35/40 and the TO4S kits. Not as good of peak numbers, but very flat between 5500-7500 on the curves.

I use a pressure sensor that reads thru the dyno software and the boost gauge in the car.

so you are finally validating that the PFC reads wrong that the boost gauge we put in would be a better choice to follow boost?
what would your low low end looked like if you rolled from 2500 rpms? would it be flat and ugly? seems to me if a large port is desired then the T78 would be one bad *** turbo. if a sissy port is desired then the T78 would/could be a waste.

They high speed balance everything and have to machine out the compressor housing quite a bit. Quality job though and there was absolutely no slop in the wheel itself. Tight and built right. I believe total cost on mine was about $650 which included shipping but I also had my turbine repaired for $125 and had a complete, full, rebuild done. You can probably get everything done for about $400. www.majesticturbo.com

Is that a 88mm inducer or exducer???
