I am seriously considering going with this clutch , anyone have experience with them ?

I guess your 500rwhp must be different to ours.... Im not basing my experience on one unit.

Me either...only thing I have seen is a wore out disc from use, we just installed a new one everything is great.

Also....why in the world would I need to start a burnout in 3rd or shift through 3 gears just doing a burnout? Assuming you are doing this to heat the tires but you really don't need that much wheel speed to do that IMO

THAT IS FACT.
Its been holding fine for me at 620rwhp, few 9 sec passes plenty of burnouts with slicks and powershifts. And held 709rwhp on the dyno few times as well. Is that Ernie T power yet?

For 500hp I wouldnt spend money on anything else the OP will be fine. But the driver is a big part on making the clutch last.. You cannot slip the clutch at all or you will kill it very fast, its just not meant to be slipped like a street clutch. Dont slip it at all and be prepared to break sh$t. Very thin line you have.

It will eventually wear out, more hp you got the quicker im sure but for the 100 bucks ive spent ive gotten more then my moneys worth already. And Im sure Ill be making a few mid 9 sec passes with the same disc this year. Keep you posted.

I guess ACT will be ok for a race car , but mines a street machine that will see a bit of track use.
